The following is an prologue from the third book of Phoenix Rising Online, Antipode. No doubt it would trigger the NPCs if most weren’t filtered out by the first chapter of the first book and most of the rest weren’t filtered out by female criminals facing the logical consequences of their actions.
Most of us here understand that we are living in Clown World today, and things are generally getting worse, not better. Perhaps it has to get worse before it gets better; the level of pain necessary to wake up the normie NPCs is somewhat scary to think about, but clearly, we have not yet reached those levels of pain. Yet.
What can the individual do in Clown World? I have come to think that the most critical priority now and in the immediate future is not allowing oneself to be gaslit. Your sanity needs to take priority.
It's not enough to "enjoy the decline" of Clown World; one needs to actively cultivate one's sanity and decisively and forcefully reject the insanity being promoted.
We hear everywhere that men are dropping out of soyciety. This is the most obvious example of avoiding the gaslighting because, in the western world today (and to a lesser extent outside the west), soyciety will gaslight you in every possible way, all day, every day.
The simplest way to avoid gaslighting is to walk away. If you argue with the gaslighters, you will find that they have invested the entirety of their life in crafting explanations as to why their crazy Clown World is, in fact, logical and reasonable. You can't reach them, and you can't reason with them, so you walk away.
Soyciety at large will produce endless rationalizations for men dropping out of soyciety; they will insult you, they will belittle you, they will most of all try to convince you that you are the crazy one and that the real world of sane people is to be found on television and social media. They are trying to get you to immerse yourself in the crazy and join them. There are advantages to joining. You will be praised for going along with the program and repeating their crazy NPC slogans. If you don't go along with the program, every weapon they have will be used against you.
It's not worth it to try and cut a deal with Clown World because Clown World wants your soul, and it will demand concessions from you that will only become larger and more burdensome over time. It will start with small things, pretending that some irrelevant thing is true when it is false or false when it is true. But the gaslighting doesn't stop there. It never stops.
I often see arguments among those who believe in Male Sovereignty encouraging men to make the compromises they need to make to land that job, to climb the ladder, to be successful, to earn more money... you know the drill. This used to be called the rat race.
Why bother? If you win at Clown World, you've won at Clown World. Congratulations. Enjoy the crazy. Stupid games, stupid prizes. Better to retain your sanity and your integrity and let all the rest go.
...But what if Clown World was not the only option? How drastically would the world need to change before the correct response also changes? As the highest of high fantasies, this is what this series is meant to explore.
Oh and always remember one thing. They will call you every insult save one – a liar.
But let's say you don't believe in that.
Say you haven't learned enough, haven't seen enough that you realize the only part of this that is fiction is the solutions? What then?
Name the soy. Blame the soy.
It will do absolutely nothing to salvage Clown World or your place in it. It is, however, hilarious. And the reactions will show you NPC scripting until you understand and accept it.
By merely rejecting the soy, you protect yourself from it. Reject soy-based morality, for example, believing your right to live is morally wrong. Reject soy-based characters, for however much they believe they are the main character, they are really just trash mobs. Reject soy-based mental retardation, such as abandoning a "fight" because your enemies insulted you.
Only what is real will be left. This will be almost nothing except you, but that's okay. It is Clown World, after all. Isekais aren't an option, but you can certainly soycial distance from the true pandemic in other ways.
And never forget the most important lesson for both exercises in pressing buttons and waiting out timers and games – encountering enemies means that you are going the right direction.
